I began being thankful that I’d be home soon. I continued this way of thinking for about 15 minutes, when the gateway was closed, and I was still in the airport – not on the plane. I didn’t allow it to phase me though, and I continued thinking and feeling that they’d call my name in a few moments. I retained the feeling of joy associated with getting out of that airport and heading home. What happened next is nothing short of a modern day miracle. A few moments after the gateway was closed, a business man came running down the gateway and out of the door, briefcase in hand, exclaiming that his meeting had been canceled and that he didn’t need to fly out. There was one open seat on that plane, and guess who got it………
